Spectacular Science Shows


No visit to Questacon is complete without watching (and participating in!) a presentation by our theatre troupe The Excited Particles.

You'll learn about dinosaurs, tsunamis, explosions, balloons... performed from a repertoire of more than a dozen shows. The schedule changes daily so chances are you’ll see something new every time you visit.

Our stage shows are right for kids of all ages. For the short set, check out a puppet show, while more "serious" audiences will appreciate our Science Talks.



On Stage

Our stage shows are free with your paid Questacon admission and are presented at various times most days. Each show is around 45 minutes long.

Using humour, costumes, props and performers in character we’ll have you participating in sometimes zany antics to deepen your understanding of science and technology!
